My name is Hogai Qasmi
Before words ever felt comfortable, art was already there, holding what I couldn’t say, giving shape to feelings that didn’t have names yet. Creating became a quiet place I could return to, a way of being fully myself without needing to explain who that self was.
The world I create from is gentle and expansive, filled with wonder and imagination. It’s the place my younger self lived in, where curiosity was endless, beauty was everywhere, and meaning existed beneath the surface of ordinary things. When I work, I step back into that world, guided by feeling and by intention.
A Quiet Invitation
Art was how I discovered myself.
It gave me courage. It gave me freedom. It allowed me to feel connected to others without ever having to meet them, through a shared understanding that lives beyond language.
This work is an invitation, not to escape reality, but to return to something quieter and more honest within yourself. A space where you can pause, breathe, and remember parts of yourself that may have been waiting patiently to be seen.
